In a heat-proof bowl, combine sliced cheese with milk. Microwave at 600 W for 30 sec, then stir. If it isn’t fully melted, microwave again.

Pour the melty cheese over the okonomiyaki, top with aonori (dried seaweed), and serve.
How to make it

In a bowl, combine the Okonomiyaki flour with 1/2 cup of water. Stir with a spoon — it’s okay if a few lumps remain.

Add cabbage, green onion, eggs, and tenkasu. Mix gently so air gets incorporated.

Heat a pan with oil over medium heat.

Pour 1 portion of the batter onto the pan, shape it, and cook for 3 minutes.

Place the pork slices on top, flip the pancake, and cook for 4 minutes.

Flip again and cook 3 more minutes.

Spread Otafuku Okonomiyaki Sauce over the Okonomiyaki.
